Fairway Racing
My content strategy consisted of three types of videos, each serving a different purpose.
1) Edits, which combined fast-paced cuts of chaotic, funny, and memorable moments with nostalgic, upbeat songs in order to create an energetic viewing experience and introduce new people to Fairway Racing.
2) Entertaining Clips, which featured the funniest moments of us transforming the car and highlighted our personalities and friendship in order to build the connection viewers feel with us.
3) Informative Clips, which explained the technical aspects of transforming the car, so viewers could better understand the process, learn from our experience, and make projects like this feel more approachable for people interested in pursuing their own builds.
Disclaimer: Some of the clips in this project appear casual, vulgar, and unprofessional by standard professional standards.
I intentionally included these clips because they aligned with our target audience and purpose of the content. Males aged teens-20s naturally resonate with that style of content, and we intended for our content to be entertaining, authentic, and relatable, rather than like the polished communication they encounter in academic and professional environments.
