Nina Elise, LLC

For blog writing, my priority was creating a process that preserved my employer’s voice and expertise while minimizing the time and effort required from her.

I did this by emailing her targeted prompts to channel her thoughts and expertise. Then, she would respond by talking through her ideas and experiences in her own words, which I would then refine into a polished blog while maintaining her voice, tone, and perspective.

This process allowed each blog to remain authentically hers while allowing me to handle the more time-consuming editorial work.

For blog promotion pins, my strategy tested two different creative approaches to understand what resonated most with the target audience.

Thumbnail pins, which were designed to immediately stop the scroll and encourage clicks. They emulated the role of a YouTube thumbnail, using more prominent copy and visual approaches.

Dialed-back pins, which focused less on directly promoting the blog and more on creating a personal connection with the viewer. These positioned the content as a person sharing solutions to a shared problem, rather than a business trying to sell something, because they used less extreme visual approaches.
